We have a mixture of chickens. All are layers and all lay brown eggs. We have chosen our chickens to produce all year long. Some chickens produce more in warmer weather while the majority of the chickens produce eggs in cooler even cold weather. We have approximately 50 chickens with plans to add more in the spring.
They are free-range chickens with no restrictions on where they can go throughout their property. Their feed is not organic but their diet consists of grain, grass and lettuce. They produce some of the best eggs anywhere. While staying at Trevin Farms, you can taste the freshness every morning for breakfast. You will be amazed at what a “real egg” tastes like and you may want to purchase some eggs to bring back with you, they are that good.
